Justin & Dilla,
We rejoice with you on this miraculous occasion of Lily Beth becoming part of your family. We know you will be dedicated parents.
The following verses of Scripture speak for themselves and, though short, will give you a framework for every parenting decision you have to make.
Deuteronomy 6:5-7 NIV: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up."
Proverbs 22:6 NIV: "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it."
Congratulations! What a privilege and awesome responsibility to be Lily Beth's parents.
To Lily Beth: You are so blessed with such a wonderful family and we are looking forward to meeting you when you come to Midland, Texas. We feel like we already know you and you are part of the West Early Childhood Center family, as your cousin Carrie Walker talks about all the time. She really loves lots!

Dilla, Justin and Lily,
We are really enjoying reading all about your adventure. We are looking forward to meeting our new little cousin. Sophie has big plans for her and Lily! You both look so happy and as if you have been together as a family forever. You are natural parents! Love You all!
Oh, what a joy to read your story! I just saw the link on the Wasatch newsletter. We are also a Wasatch family, and returned from China on July 1 with our new daughter from Hunan. It is incredibly wonderful to read about your experiences, Justin and Dilla. Heck, we almost wish we were back there!

Your daughter Lily Beth is absolutely adorable, and the love you have for her bursts through in your prose and your pictures.

Congratulations!!

Dear Justin,Dilla, and Lily,

The excitement is just overwhelming! Everyday we leave your web site up and running and wide open to see every move you make. As you know, we wish that we were there to enjoy every moment with you. We will never forget the first whisper that was made..."We have made a decision...We are going to try to adopt a baby from China..." One year and several months later....Lily Beth in person...You are in China, soon to be on your way home. Oh.. my.. gosh, it has been the longest year and the shortest year all in one.
Your extended Washington family is anxiously awaiting your arrival. God bless your new family circle...And who says that miracles don't happen these days? You three are living proof!
All of our love,
Bob and Susan

(Nannie Susan just wishes that the commute wasn't so long! You know that she would be there setting up baby shop!!!)
